Caramel

So I just got it straight from the confectioners mouth that
CaramelJubilee's candies are made in a nut free kitchen! Woohoo!

Guess what's going in my stocking this year?

They are available at $12 (USD) for 1/2 lb and $22 (USD) for 1 full pound!
And they come in 5 mouth watering flavors!
Black Licorice
Chocolate
Pomegranate
Pumpkin Pie
Vanilla

I really am going to hold off until Christmas. Really.

No seriously, I am.

Probably.

Why do I want it all?

Whenever I have the urge to buy $150,000 worth of clothes (which unfortunately, is kind of often), and I realize I'm not a presidential candidate with a massive bank roll (which is always), I have to find something to do to take the place of this material satisfaction. Luckily, I've discovered it's nearly as satisfying to simply post my finds on my little blog here (except for that turtleneck - I'm losing the battle on that one!) So again, I have the urge to shop, but the while the flesh is willing, the funds are weak - so here goes!

1.

Pure gorgeousness from Molly Proctor. The only problem with this ring is that I'd be afraid I'd want to eat it!

Les Enfants Sauvages

These shirts are so beautiful and feminine! I'm not sure if I could pull one off, but they'd look great on Ali McGraw! So, if you look anything like her, I'd buy one immediately!

3.

Persnickity Design

These bags are so cute! And they're not even made of leather - just wipe it down and it will look as good as new!
And what a cute name!

The perfect turtleneck!

This is such a great Fall color! It's very 70's without being anachronistic. Plus the shirt looks like it would actually be long enough that I wouldn't have to constantly tug at it. LOVE.

American Apparel Burnt Orange Turtleneck

Available at American Apparel for only $27.

I promise not to wear them all at once!

Okay, so I know a little plaid goes a long way, but I have to have all of these! And like I said - I promise not to wear them all at once! Although it might be tempting...

Early Christmas Shopping?

For me?

Oh you shouldn't have!

What? What do you mean you didn't? - Well now you can!

Here are some great choices for presents for me (or anyone else on your list) this (early early early) holiday season!

First off is Button Empire! She uses vintage ephemera and her gocco to make the cutest buttons and cards! Any and all would be fine! Thanks!

Giant Dwarf makes the best bags! I know because I have one already, so I know how well made and sturdy they are! I have a tendency to get a bit rough with my purses and hers has stood the test of time. Plus I've gotten more compliments on it than anything else I've ever owned! I think I need two!

Next up is a cute little number by Replicca. For some reason this reminds me of a referee, in the best way possible of course! It's awesome (everyone knows I love stripes), and I will cherish it forever as soon as I unwrap it!

Last for today are these neato bright blue photo frames from Bucks County Frames. I love love love this color! Can't you imagine a beautiful vacation photo with a sunset in one of these? Or you could put a print in one! Bucks County also has some really nice photos, so check them out while you're in the shop.

I'll be back soon with some more suggestions, so stay tuned!

Money can't buy me love

But it can buy a Nintendo.

My husband's birthday is just around the corner and what makes a better gift than a game the whole family (he & I) can enjoy?
I got my nintendo from DKoldies and - though the first one didn't actually work - it arrived quickly and the people were really easy to deal with. Now we are Mario crazy. Last night we began making a tentative list of what "new" games we'd be getting in the coming months. I have a vision of Christmas 2008 and it's eerily similar to that of Christmas 1988...

Rust Never Sleeps

I'm back and making treasuries. It's a miracle.
